All These Perfect Strangers

All These Perfect Strangers: A Novel - Aoife Clifford

I couldn't put this book down and was completely hooked until the last ten percent. Right from the start you could tell that the main character, and narrator, Pen was not all that reliable. She clearly was better at telling other people and herself lies than the truth. I really loved the fact that I didn't know what to believe when reading about her college experience. You knew right off that she was lying at times to her psychologist Frank.

Eventually in this book you do find out what has happened in Pen's past and quite frankly it's just as juicy as what happens while she is at college. I was so excited for the end to see exactly what had happened and quite honestly I was a bit disappointed by the ending. You could really see that ending coming and maybe I just had hoped for more for Pen. I would still recommend this book even though I wasn't fond of the ending because the story hooked me from the start and wouldn't let me go.
