Now I See You - Nicole C. Kear

It seems like I have highlighted a third of what I have read so far of this book. I am constantly highlighting and laughing while reading this. Nicole didn't take her diagnosis lying down. In fact, her motto becomes "carpe fucking diem." While her misadventures and her family are absolutely hysterical her story also manages to uplift and inspire. Here is one of my favorite passages so far:

When you lack peripheral vision, handshakes can be a real pain in the ass. You'll inevitably leave folks hanging with their palms splayed out expectantly, and they will have no choice but to conclude you're a stone-cold bitch.

Oh and each chapter also has a Tip for the (Secretly) Blind and they are hilarious. I can't wait to read more.
