Reading progress update: I've read 19% of "Goebbels."
I've just finished the first section which covers 1897-1933. From my last reading update Goebbels is now married to a woman named Magda. He wasn't really pleased when Hitler started to really take a shine towards Magda but once Magda agreed to marry Goebbels, Goebbels was happy.
The NSDAP has been working towards gaining control of Germany, and so far has been attempting to do it legally. Goebbels has seen his role within the NSDAP grow. He has gained control of Party propaganda but so far hasn't been really successful with it. The next section covers 1933-1939 and I am off to read it.
