Tracker's End

"I like it when your eyes stay on me," he says quietly, which brings my gaze straight back to him. In his eyes I see the honesty in his statement.
I requested this book from Netgalley knowing that it was the third book in a series I hadn't read at all because it looked pretty interesting and because the cover is amazing (am I the only one reminded of Charlie Hunnam when I look at it?). After reading this I don't think that it is extremely necessary to have read the other books in the series to understand what is going on in this one but I like reading books in order so I quickly gobbled up the first two before reading this one.
There was some interaction between Tracker and Lana in the previous book so when this book starts Tracker is already bound and determined to have Lana as his girl. I wasn't completely sold on the relationship between Tracker and Lana and I think it's because Tracker was so open to a relationship from the beginning. They have their fights and drama and most of the time it felt like they were fighting over stupid stuff. They really did have good chemistry and heat so I was willing to overlook the fighting and drama most of the time.
This one seemed to have less drama involving the MC and therefore less action. There were some pretty big things that happened but to me it didn't seem like there was as much danger as the previous books.
One again I loved at how the secondary characters shined and I loved getting to read more about Clover. I really hope the next book is about Rake because he really seems like he would be fascinating to follow and I really want to know what happened between him and Bailey. Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for the galley.
