I won this book in a giveaway from the books publisher (Random House), the giveaway also contained a game version of the book and an audiobook version. I love murder mysteries and I was kind of wary about this book at first because of the main character being an eleven year old, but once I got into the story I found that her age made it more interesting. The book started off a little slow for me, which is quite understandable considering the characters must be introduced, but once Flavia started investigating the murder I was hooked. I am looking forward to reading the other books in this series.
