This is definitely my favorite book in the Flavia de Luce series. Flavia is back and this time the town is digging up the body of St. Tancred. The town discovers one body too many when they open St. Tancred's crypt. Flavia is just as spunky and precocious as ever while the mystery she is left to solve seems even darker than any of the other mysteries that she has solved. Parts of this book actually spooked me and creeped me out, i.e. Jocelyn Ridley-Smith. Flavia fans will love this book, it has a great mystery, Flavia at her very best, and even a jaw-dropping twist at the end. The twist left me dying to read the next book in the series. Can't wait for more from Flavia de Luce.
