This is an interesting collection of people's experiences during and a little bit after World War II. There are experiences from people in the United States, Japan, England, and Germany. I enjoyed that this showed the reader what it was like in WWII from people that actually experienced it. It was very interesting to compare the experiences of people from different countries and to see how the were similar and how they were different. Overall I thought it was very interesting and at times heartbreaking and I would recommend this for anyone interested in WWII.
