I haven't read much dystopian fiction except for The Hunger Games. I've been kind of wary about dystopian fiction, some of it just seems ridiculous to me. Next thing you know someone will come out with a dystopian book in which eels rule the world and humans become their slaves (Don't even think about stealing my idea for my eel world domination dystopian book).
That being said I loved this book. The premise behind the book with the world being divided into factions wasn't too far out there for me. It was also easy for me to relate to Tris and her struggles. I loved her relationship with Four and I liked how it didn't dominate the story.
I really look forward to reading the next book in the series (It comes out a day before my birthday, and that will be my present to myself), and look forward to reading any future work from Veronica Roth.
