Orange is the New Black
This was an interesting look at Piper Kerman's year in a federal prison. While I did find this to be interesting I was most interested in reading about Kerman's fellow inmates and not about her. Those women had such interesting and at times heartbreaking stories. I felt like Kerman seemed to blame the drug laws for her stay in prison and not her illegal actions. I don't know, I just never fully warmed up to her. I would recommend this book if you are interested in reading more about life in prison.
