Reading progress update: I've read 42% of "I Am Malala" by Malala Yousafzai.
This teenage girl from Swat in Pakistan has already done some extraordinary things and it is definitely not a stretch to say that we can expect great things from her in the future. If you don't know who Malala is, she was shot by the Taliban on her way to school for speaking out about women/girl's rights (especially to go to school). So far I have found Malala's story fascinating and definitely inspiring. It really makes me think about all the opportunities I have that I take for granted. I am looking forward to reading more.
