Don't Even Think About It

Don't Even Think About It - Sarah Mlynowski

This was a nice, light, and relatively short book. It is about a group of high school students who find themselves able to read people's thoughts after they get flu shots. I was really intrigued by the whole mind reading thing so I decided to read this.

I think that I really would have loved this when I was 13 or 14. While I did think that overall the book was good I felt like the characters were underdeveloped (And some were clearly over-the-top. I'm looking at you Cooper.), and the point-of-view being of the whole group was a bit confusing at times. I just never really felt completely interested in any of the characters. I did like that this story showed how all these students grew to be close by their shared experiences.

I would recommend this book to teenagers from 12-14 years old. Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for the galley.
