I haven't had much time today to read this as it was a beautiful day outside so my family decided to do yard work, but what I have read of this I have enjoyed. I was really eager to read this book not only because I love WWII historical fiction but also because I felt that it would be interesting to read a book from the perspective of a blind character (I haven't read a book like that yet). I really love how Marie-Laure describes things with the rest of her senses. I like reading from the point-of-view of both Marie-Laure and Werner and really love both of them. I am going to go sit down with a glass of wine and read some more.
