Indecent Proposal

"Have you ever done everything in your power and not have it be good enough? And not just a little bit, but have everything you are capable of be not even close to enough?"
This is the first book by Molly O'Keefe that I've read and judging by how much I enjoyed it, it won't be the last. I stayed up late in to the night reading this and the only reason I stopped and didn't end up finishing it then was because my Kindle was about to die. Then, of course, I was dying to know what happened next.
Both of the main characters, Ryan and Harrison, were strong and were shaped by some heartbreak from their past. They also both had more than their fair share of loneliness. I loved how strong Ryan was and how she managed to shatter everyone's expectations of her and their assumptions about her. Harrison could be super cold at times but when he really opened up he showed such devastating vulnerability. Both of them at times could be annoyingly stubborn (and you wanted to knock some sense into them) but when they were together it was magic.
I really loved some of the secondary characters and felt like they really shined. I just loved Wallace and Noelle and how both characters defied my expectations. Wallace really provided some great comedic relief especially when Harrison's mother was involved.
This story was interesting from beginning to end, even when Ryan and Harrison were too stubborn for their own good. This was a story with some real meat in it and not just a collection of steamy scenes. I look forward to reading more books by Molly O'Keefe. Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for the galley.
