Reading this book is like driving by a car wreck, you don't want to look but you can't tear your eyes away from it. I'm not sure I like this as a sequel to Gone With the Wind but so far I can't stop reading it (mostly because I can't wait to see what strange thing will come next). Scarlett has just left Charleston to visit her grandfather with her aunts. She and Rhett had just been intimate with each other after their near death experience and now it is pretty obvious what will happen to Scarlett in the coming months. I am preparing myself for more oddness to come.
